  • Hi @senorpablo great questions.. yes Lynx can definitely do spherical panoramas! You would set point 1, pan over and set point 2 firing 8 images between, tilt up and set point 3 firing no shots, pan over firing 8 images... etc. To do 5 rows would r…
  • Hi Alex, On the Lynx controller, you have the option of saving a program. So you can save your move and run it as many times as necessary. I guess you can't rerun a move without saving, but we'll look into this. Thank you!
  • @Schleicher12000 @raxonsrain hey guys, just wanted to update that we've been working on some updates to the Lynx firmware, one of which will add the ability to to select that you are using the Axis360 motors. This solves the issue in this thread. We…
  • @raxonsrain thanks for the video, this helps a lot! We're looking into this now. I did notice a couple things in your video now though... if you change the speed in "manual mode" you then have t hit 'run' on that page to enter the changed setting. …
  • @katjadoehne it seems that this is an issue with select Panasonic cameras that is effecting several triggers. The official Panasonic word is to use their remote trigger. You can combine this with motion control by starting both the Panasonic tigger …
  • Hi @raxonsrain thanks for the comment. Your link is saying the video is unavailable. Would you please check the link? We're looking into this issue now, and your video would surely be helpful.
  • @Sol, we'll test with DF 4 and let you know how it goes. Were you able to try manually adding motor and choosing MF Moco Arduino? I'd point you to the exact part in your video where that option is, but it is showing up as private now.
  • Looks like you guys took care of this by email, and this is on the way to you
  • Whoa, can't keep up with you! Lol at the pumpkin and nice edit! We used Dragonframe 3 when developing so if you can't get 4 to work, I'd suggest trying 3. But first, try manually adding the motor and choose DF Moco Arduino. For others' referen…
  • Hi Alexander, yes you can connect an external battery to the Lynx controller. It needs to be 12 volt / 3 amp and have a 2.1mm barrel jack. Something like this would likely work well: https://www.amazon.com/MAXOAK-50000mAh-Portable-External-Notebook-…
  • @Schleicher12000 , thanks for including the video. Makes it way easier to troubleshoot And it was all very clear, you should be a voice actor lol. Really appreciate you supporting Cinetics and the kind words about our products. We're able to keep b…
  • Hi guys, sorry for the trouble. First, confirm you are on the correct 1.0 firmware... reset settings and go to manual move. Speeds should be 50/50/70 for pan/tilt/slide. Use the medium torque setting. It's always a good idea to reset to default sett…
  • The instructions Augie and I added are only necessary if this was not checked during our QA process or was adjusted since then somehow. Most any Lynx sent besides the early Kickstarter kits do not need this adjustment. The play shown in @AJG 's vid…
  • HI @miguel_muc we are aware of the issue, working on the best solution, and we will post here with an update soon. Sorry for the trouble, and thanks for your feedback.
  • @Django Thanks for the feedback. We are working on this now and will be in touch!
  • Hi Rainer, We are sending you a new pair of rails now. You received one of the very first Lynx kits. One of the first 10 we shipped. We're very sorry there were some issues. But in our defense, we've been prompt to address each concern you have h…
  • @KJNoble did you click the Boards Manager option at the top of the list on page 6 and search "due" as shown on page 7? Maybe that is the issue. @Rainer 5% is the default ramp, but you can adjust this as needed. 50% ramps up the first half of the mo…
  • Hi guys, if you ordered through Kickstarter, the standard kit is 24" and there was an option to add the extension. The retail kits include the extension, and are also priced higher. Please send us an email if you'd like to order an extension, the…
  • And just for fun, a vid of Dragonframe controlling Lynx motors...
  • Matthew, sorry for my delay here.. Were you able to resolve this? I attached a pic of how the serial port shows up when this works properly. There could be some variation here depending on when your controller was made. I'm using Dragonframe 3.6.3.…
  • @ay8s just realized I forgot to reply to your note. Nice to hear from you and glad the motors are nice and quiet! The quick connect that connects the controller to the pan/tilt snaps apart with force. And once it is apart, you can use the included …

  • @Rudy this is not possible currently, but certainly something we can look into!

  • I guess you could define your own home position. The center is just helpful so you can accurately get it to the same spot. If you save a preset and set the home position as a different location, you would just have to remember the precise position. …
  • The controller does not trigger video. You need to do that on the camera. The cable send photo trigger and exposure time info. We'll look into adding this feature though Thanks!
  • @Rainer, I'm not sure if this was before the most recent firmware update. Try setting ramping down to 0 or 1%. And is the problem for a Video program? Try Timelapse - Continuous. Longer run times should be more accurate also, as you noticed.
  • Actually, looks like the app was set to only be available in the US by mistake. We just submitted an update to Google to make it available in all countries. So it should be available in the store in a few hours. Thanks!
  • Hi @Kai We're looking into this now. In the mean time, you can try... -open chrome -sign in with your gmail acount -go to playstore (the website, not the playstore app in your phone) -search for the app that you want but isn't available in your c…
  • Weird. I haven't heard this issue and we have several Lynx users in Canada. This link doesn't work? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=lynx.motion.control
  • Rainer, sorry we forgot to put this screw in place. Not sure how that made it passed us. Glad you were able to get it fixed. You have one of the very first Lynx kits we shipped, thanks for communicating these issues to us so we can make sure to corr…
  • Good news, @Rainer ! Looking forward to seeing what you shoot with Lynx!
