  • Hi @duncan ! Sorry for the delay. Was focused on getting the 1.1 firmware update out and this slipped by me. Thanks for the kind words about the Lynx. We're happy you are enjoying it!! We are working on panorama functionality, and this is defini…
  • Sorry, to hear that Rainer. I've replied to your email. We'll get this resolved ASAP.
  • Glad the update is working well for you @Schleicher12000 and thanks for the feedback! I'll look into if we can get the presets going for the the Axis360, but in the mean time you can save your own moves and those should work just fine.
  • Hi @Rainer You want to open the "LynxUpdater" application (see attachment). If it is not showing up, please make sure your antivirus is not blocking it. Please let us know how it goes. Thanks!
  • Hi @susiebee the slider cart connects directly to the pan/tilt motors. There is a silver 3/8 screw in the slider cart. If you don't see that screw look in the slider bag as sometimes in wiggles out in transit. Let us know how it goes. Thanks!!
  • Richard, sorry to hear you are having trouble with the update. If you start the updater then hit the refresh ports button, is there only one com port available? Maybe your PC has another that you need to choose. If you have access to a another PC or…
  • Thanks for the input!! We'll be posting the 1.1 firmware very soon, and will start working on the next version right away
  • Hi sorry, saw your email and the We Transfer link says "Transfer Deleted", I meant to reply yesterday, sorry about that. I've replied to your email also now.
  • I'd suggest removing the pan/tilt head and starting with a basic slide with the camera connected with a low profile ball head. Or you can even connect an arca-type clamp to the slider cart and an arca plate to the camera... this can enable a very ba…
  • I'm going to delete your other thread and copy your post here... ''Hi There, I just received my Lynx Slider and have been playing with it for a couple of days. Unfortunately, Both my time lapse and video footage is wobbly. To be clear, this is a…
  • @gmore70 sorry you are having trouble getting a smooth shot, but we're here for you to help you get the perfect shot you are after. Like @tourwizard mentioned, could you share a video, so we can help you trouble shoot?
  • Hi @MONDOMONGO & @Casseragi , sorry for my delay. We've been working behind the scenes to resolve these issues. You can find updates on the tilt issue you mentioned here: http://forum.cinetics.com/index.php?p=/discussion/720/lynx-pan-tilt-motor…
  • The program is intended to have you select the start point, then end point, then it returns to start before beginning the programmed move. We've been working on fine tuning motor movements in the version 1.1 firmware that we will be posting in a wee…
  • Hey guys, thanks for the feedback here. This is fixed in new firmware 1.1 that will be available shortly... http://forum.cinetics.com/index.php?p=/discussion/718/lynx-firmware-1-1-coming-soon
  • I think the best way to combine the products would be to control the camera with the Timelapse+ and the move with the Axis360. If you use a shoot-move-shoot style move, you need to be careful to set them both to start at the same time so the camera …
  • @jcarncross just wanted to say thanks for posting this info. We're working on firmware updates now and will see if it is possible to add the ability to edit programed moves. As for repeating moves exactly, this is possible... you need to make sure y…
  • Hi there, there are a few options to improve stability... Balance your camera well over the slider axis and on the pan and tilt motors. Use a light weight camera setup, as lighter cameras are easier to balance properly. Use slow motor movements. The…
  • Hey guys, sorry for the delay! Yes this is coming in the version 1.1 firmware within a few weeks. http://forum.cinetics.com/index.php?p=/discussion/718/lynx-firmware-1-1-coming-soon We're just trying to wrap up a bunch of updates into 1.1, so we …
  • Hi @Remy , send us an email at info@cinetics.com, and we'll help you get a replacement. The charger is a 12V, 1A, with a 2.1mm barrel jack, but I'd recommend getting a replacement from us. Thanks!
  • I think @Augie helped you resolve this over email?
  • Hi @senorpablo great questions.. yes Lynx can definitely do spherical panoramas! You would set point 1, pan over and set point 2 firing 8 images between, tilt up and set point 3 firing no shots, pan over firing 8 images... etc. To do 5 rows would r…
  • Hi Alex, On the Lynx controller, you have the option of saving a program. So you can save your move and run it as many times as necessary. I guess you can't rerun a move without saving, but we'll look into this. Thank you!
  • @Schleicher12000 @raxonsrain hey guys, just wanted to update that we've been working on some updates to the Lynx firmware, one of which will add the ability to to select that you are using the Axis360 motors. This solves the issue in this thread. We…
  • @raxonsrain thanks for the video, this helps a lot! We're looking into this now. I did notice a couple things in your video now though... if you change the speed in "manual mode" you then have t hit 'run' on that page to enter the changed setting. …
  • @katjadoehne it seems that this is an issue with select Panasonic cameras that is effecting several triggers. The official Panasonic word is to use their remote trigger. You can combine this with motion control by starting both the Panasonic tigger …
  • Hi @raxonsrain thanks for the comment. Your link is saying the video is unavailable. Would you please check the link? We're looking into this issue now, and your video would surely be helpful.
  • @Sol, we'll test with DF 4 and let you know how it goes. Were you able to try manually adding motor and choosing MF Moco Arduino? I'd point you to the exact part in your video where that option is, but it is showing up as private now.
  • Looks like you guys took care of this by email, and this is on the way to you
  • Whoa, can't keep up with you! Lol at the pumpkin and nice edit! We used Dragonframe 3 when developing so if you can't get 4 to work, I'd suggest trying 3. But first, try manually adding the motor and choose DF Moco Arduino. For others' referen…
  • Hi Alexander, yes you can connect an external battery to the Lynx controller. It needs to be 12 volt / 3 amp and have a 2.1mm barrel jack. Something like this would likely work well: https://www.amazon.com/MAXOAK-50000mAh-Portable-External-Notebook-…
